Special Interest Groups
Special Interest Groups can be formed for a limited three-year period to gauge interest in a particular statistical topic or interest area.
Consideration will be given to the establishment of a Special Interest Group (SIG) where either an existing area of interest is not currently covered by one of the Society’s Sections [link to Sections page] or when a new topic area develops that is not catered for within the Society.
A SIG can be proposed by a group of Fellows but can include non-Fellows within its membership.
Any queries about forming a SIG should be sent to Paul Gentry at the Society’s offices.
