Gain a professional accreditation

Professional accreditation

Our professional awards are a great way of gaining recognition for the hard work you’ve put in to achieve your statistical qualification and for your continued professional training and experience. We have three different accreditations.

Chartered statistician

Chartered Statistician (CStat) is our highest professional award. It provides formal recognition of a member’s statistical qualifications and professional training and experience. Our CStat award is a respected designation and has many benefits for professionally active statisticians.

Graduate statistician

Graduate Statistician (GradStat) is a grade of professional membership of our Society. It provides formal recognition of a member’s statistical qualifications.

Chartered scientist

All Chartered Statisticians (CStats) can apply for Chartered Scientist status (CSci). CSci is an award of the Science Council. We are recognised by the Science Council as a licensed body for the award of CSci status to our professionally qualified members.
