In order to meet the diverse needs of those engaged or interested in the world of statistics, the Royal Statistical Society offers five different categories of membership.
Fellows and Professional Statisticians are full members of the Society, receiving a wide range of benefits. Group and Student Members usually have a more focused interest in one particular dimension of the Society's work, and the package of benefits provided reflects this.
The RSS also offers Associate School Membership to educational institutions interested in promoting the teaching of statistics in schools and universities.
