All potential applicants should read and understand these notes, which are designed to assist in deciding whether or not to apply. In summary, at least one of the following four criteria must be met. - A good UK Honours Degree (Class I or II) and/or an appropriate
Higher Degree in Statistics or a subject containing substantial
coverage of statistical theory, methods and practice and
typically at least five years of professional development
consisting of appropriate professional statistical training and
experience
- An appropriate overseas degree (in some cases an MSc will be
necessary) in Statistics or a subject containing substantial
coverage of statistical theory, methods and practice and
typically at least five years of professional development
consisting of appropriate professional statistical training and
experience
- The Graduate
Diploma of the Royal Statistical Society or the Institute of
Statisticians and typically at least five years of
professional development consisting of appropriate professional
statistical training and experience
