The 2007 conference took place at the University of York from 16 - 20 July 2007. The theme of the conference was Statistics and Public Policy-Making: Hope vs. Reality. It addressed a wide range of topical issues, looking at how statistical science impacts on the way government policy is set and monitored both in the UK and internationally.
