Contributed talks and posters

SUBMISSIONS ARE NOW CLOSED
 
The conference committee invites submissions for contributed talks on any of the announced topics as well as any other topic or area of interest related to the study and use of statistics.
 
In particular the committee would welcome submissions on the following topics:
  • Crime statistics
  • Econometrics
  • Evidence-based policy making
  • Genomics
  • Machine learning
  • Signal processing
  • Statistical issues in manufacturing industry
  • Survey methodology
  • Teaching statistics
Contributed talk presenters will be allocated 20 minutes slots in parallel contributed sessions for their presentations.  Wherever possible the organisers will ensure that talks on similar topics are scheduled together.
 
Submissions from statisticians and users of statistics in the early stages of their careers are positively encouraged.
 
As well as individual talks proposals are also invited for poster presentations and for special topic contributed sessions.
 
 
Abstracts for both contributed talks and posters must be submitted using the  online submission form. 
 
Contributors will be informed of the decision on their submission by mid-May.
