RSS 2018 International Conference

The RSS International Conference has established itself as the only conference in the UK for anyone interested in statistics and data science.

Every year, nearly 600 statisticians and data scientists gather from all sectors and from over 30 countries to share information and network, attracted by a varied programme of talks and workshops.

The 2018 conference will, once again, be organised by ‘streams’ allowing in-depth focus on specialised topics as well as broader presentations on new developments and thinking in statistics:

Applications of statistics
Communicating and teaching statistics
Data science
Environmental statistics
Industry and Finance
Medical statistics
Methods and Theory
Official statistics and public policy
Professional Development
Social statistics

We are currently working on the 2018 streams and programme and so are interested in any ideas for topics and speakers. Simply send your thoughts to conference@rss.org.uk.

And if you’re interested in organising a session at conference, please take a look at these guidelines to help you formulate a proposal. The deadline for proposals is 24 November.
