Audio Visual Facilities

To meet the demand for cutting edge facilities we've installed a suite of new equipment, including a high resolution projector, specialist loudspeakers and a touch screen presentation panel in our Lecture Theatre.

• interact with projected images with Visualiser
• have easy touch screen control of equipment
• have freedom of movement with radio microphones
• have a clearer view of the action with upgraded projection facilities, including a balcony plasma screen

The new system is the result of a careful specification and tendering process; independent consultants Arup Acoustics helped draw up our specification and interview prospective contractors to provide installation. We chose audiovisual specialists Feltech who have done similar installations for Wellcome Trust, GlaxoSmithKline, McCann Erickson and the National Police Training Service.

More improvements are due. In the next phase, we will provide a video conferencing facility plus enhancements to the other meeting rooms and other parts of the building.
