Statistical Showcase 2012: Exploring Careers in Statistics

This event is intended for anyone in the first few years of their statistical career. Whether you have begun to specialise in a specific area of statistics or are still studying, this event will be of great interest.
It will feature a range of statistical fields with speakers from both industry and academia.
There is an opportunity to network at an early evening wine reception kindly sponsored by ATASS.
The overall aim of the afternoon is to encourage young statisticians to broaden their horizons and continue to develop their professional skills.
Speakers confirmed from Google, Microsoft, Public Health Intelligence, Unilever, University of Warwick, Renewable Energy Systems, Institute for Climate and Atmospheric Science, Met Office, Department for Education, Office of the Sentencing Council, Onside Analysis, Global Sports Statistics, Brand Science Network and Allstate.
