Medical Statistics in real life since 1998 - Meant to be confusing?
Rm ECG-26, Engineering & Computing Building, Coventry University
Speaker: Gill Furze, Coventry University
I have been working with medical statisticians since 1998 on studies of complex interventions to promote health behaviour change. I’m going to talk about my journey in trying to understand statistics since then, and give examples of the different approaches to analysis of complex interventions that have been used in our studies by medical statistician colleagues as the science advances. There are times when I do wonder – “ Is this just to confuse us”?
The meeting will include the local group’s annual general meeting.
Refreshments: 4.30pm in Room EC1-29, Engineering & Computing building.
Meeting organised by: RSS West Midlands Local Group
Meeting organiser: Dr Peter Kimani
