Financial and Economic Statistics User Group

The Financial and Economic Statistics User Group (FESUG) exists for users of financial data, whether produced by official sources, trade bodies or commercial enterprises.  The use and interpretation of financial data is fundamental in describing society and the economy so, through meetings, seminars or roundtable discussions, FESUG aims to improve understanding of compilation methodologies, obtain practitioner views on existing statistics or potential improvements, provide a topical discussion network for compilers or users and promote expertise amongst users.

An executive committee, meeting in Central London locations 4 times a year, at which the Office for National Statistics and Bank of England are participating observers, directs the annual programme of events.

Free membership is open to anyone in a personal capacity, without obligation.  To be a member and thereby receive notification of our events, please complete and return our membership form.
