Labour Market Statistics User group
The LMSUG exists for users of labour market data, whether produced by official sources or other organisations such as trade bodies. The use and interpretation of labour market data is fundamental in describing the state of the economy and the well-being of society. The group holds afternoon meetings three times a year and seeks to improve understanding of methodology, discuss user views and experience, together with the policy and other uses of labour market data.
Potential topics for future meetings include:
-
Participation of younger people in the labour market
-
Earnings
-
Local area labour market data
-
Disadvantaged groups
-
Integrated household survey
Meetings are arranged by an organising committee including representatives from government and non-government users.
To be notified of future meetings please contact Katy.Dunn@ons.gsi.gov.uk
