Register of Professionally Qualified Fellows
The register listed includes those fellows on the Register of Professionally Qualified Fellows in February 2013 who ‘opted in’ to being included in the public version of the register.
The public version of the register will be updated on the website periodically; the next update is planned for July 2013.
Chartered Statisticians (CStat)
Chartered Statistician (CStat) is the Society's highest professional award. It provides formal recognition of an individual's statistical qualifications and professional training and experience. Click here for details of the CStat award.
From 2012 those holding the CStat award will normally be required to revalidate every 5 years. Revalidation involves confirming compliance with the Society’s Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Policy and adherence to the Society’s Code of Conduct, by declaration and/or providing evidence. Click here for details of the revalidation requirements.
Those holding the CStat award and who are retired and so no longer professionally active are not required to revalidate; also the revalidation requirement is deferred for those on a career break.
Those Chartered Statisticians who also hold the Science Council’s Chartered Scientist (CSci) award revalidate annually in accordance with the Science Council’s requirements. Click here for details of the CSci revalidation requirements.
The fellows listed on the public version of the register of Chartered Statisticians are professionally active and required to revalidate, except where indicated otherwise.
