Mentoring scheme for Graduate Statisticians
This scheme has been introduced by the Society as a service to its Graduate Statisticians. It is intended to provide advice and guidance in respect of the professional development they need to undertake in order to prepare themselves to apply for Chartered Statistician status. The advice will be provided by volunteer mentors who are themselves Chartered Statisticians.
Information about the scheme is available in a PDF document of Guidance Notes[ 105KB]. These Notes are intended both for mentees and for mentors. They set out the aims and objectives of the scheme in detail, what mentees and mentors should expect from it, and how it will operate. There is also a section of frequently asked questions.
Graduate Statisticians who wish to enrol in the scheme must fill in a simple application form [ 35KB] and return it to us. It can be filled in electronically and returned to us as an email attachment (to qualifications@rss.org.uk), or manually and returned to us by post. Full contact details are given in the Guidance Notes.
Interested parties are welcome to contact us to enquire further about the scheme.
