Specimen papers and solutions for modular version of Higher Certificate examination

The modular version of the Higher Certificate examination has been progressively introduced from 2007.

Specimen papers and solutions for each module were prepared and are available for download from this page. Each is a PDF file; please follow the respective link to download the file. In all cases, the paper and its solutions are in the same file.

You will need to scroll this page to see the full catalogue.

All the modules have the same structure for the examination paper - a paper of one and a half hours, containing four questions of which candidates are to attempt three.

The "live" papers and solutions for each module in each year are available for download from the main "past papers" page of our website. There is a separate PDF file for each paper and for its solutions.
