Statistical Computing Section

The aim of the Section is to study and disseminate information about the interface between statistics and computing. This includes both:

• statistical computing - the development and application of statistical methods that rely on computation;
• computational statistics - the algorithms and software that underlie statistical methods.

The Section website used to be hosted at the University of Glasgow. This site is retained as an archive of past activities.
