Northern Ireland
Welcome to the Northern Ireland Local Group of the Royal Statistical Society which was formed in 1974. The Group organises an annual programme of meetings and events allowing statisticians across Northern Ireland to meet and discuss topics of interest. The Local Group has long had a close working relationship with the Irish Statistical Association (www.istat.ie) and is represented on the ISA's executive committee. It also lends its support to kindred local groups such as the recently formed R group.
