The
Science Media Centre (SMC), an independent UK press office for science, is looking for more experts to add to its lists. As an SMC expert, you will help ensure statistics and data are covered by the press in the best way possible.
If you’re a senior statistician or data expert working on issues that often crop up in the news, the SMC would like to hear from you. As an SMC expert you will be contacted with journalist enquiries related to your area of expertise, which could be a request for an interview with a newspaper, a comment for an SMC roundup or to speak on a panel for a press briefing.
SMC experts must be at post-doc level or above, research active at a known and respected scientific institution and have a clear publication record in your area of expertise.
