Each year we award medals and prizes to people who have made outstanding contributions to the development of statistics. Our honours committee, chaired by our president, considers nominations for our medals and prizes. The awards are presented at our annual conference.

These awards recognise excellent presentation of official statistics, and examples of innovative statistical practices that have improved statistical information for users.
This award recognises an outstanding level of influence in the application of an existing statistical practice, or an innovation, that has strengthened the quality and efficiency of investigations in the pharmaceutical industry.
This is a new award in partnership with Significance Magazine for early-career statisticians who are able to tell data-driven stories in an entertaining and thought-provoking way.
This award, in partnership with the Health Foundation celebrates the work of healthcare data analysts who have improved patient care in healthcare systems in the UK.
