We are now accepting entries for our 2021 Award for Statistical Excellence in Trustworthiness, Quality & Value, awarded in partnership with the Office for Statistics Regulation (OSR) and Civil Service World.
Previously called the Voluntary Application Award, it recognises excellence in the voluntary application of the ‘pillars’ of Trustworthiness, Quality and Value (TQV) that stand at the heart of OSR’s Code of Practice for Statistics.
Judged by an expert judging panel, the winner and runners-up will be announced at the RSS’s annual Statistical Excellence Awards ceremony in London on 15 July 2021.

It’s important now more than ever that statistics are credible, and this award rightly celebrates those organisations that are going above and beyond by voluntarily holding their statistics to a high benchmark.'
Baroness Onora O’Neill of Bengarve, whose work inspired the award commented: 'This award is an exciting opportunity for those pioneering organisations that have voluntarily applied the Code to their statistics to gain additional recognition for their public commitment to high quality and trustworthiness.'
