Near the end of the calendar year, the RSS Leeds-Bradford local group will host its Annual General Meeting (AGM) and elect the 2022 committee. Both the local group and the Royal Statistical Society are keen to incorporate new members into committees yearly as this helps to expose members to a broader range of events, expertise and perspectives.
Joining a committee can seem daunting and perhaps you want to know what it entails. So, this years’ committee members will be presenting short reflections about their time on committee. We will be circulating these reflections over the coming months so keep an eye on your inbox and on our social media accounts. To express interest in joining the committee, please contact leedsbradfordlg@rss.org.uk with a short statement (up to 200 words) about your background and why you are interested in joining the committee. Please note you have to be a fellow to join the committee.
We will make the AGM an engaging affair by integrating it with one of our final events of the year. Details of the AGM will be made available soon.
