Venue information
The conference will take place at the Harrogate Convention Centre which is minutes away from the town centre and rail station.



Most sessions and receptions will be held in the centre with a few sessions taking place at the neighbouring Crowne Plaza hotel.

The conference dinner will be held at the historic Royal Hall.

There is a wide range of hotels, guest houses and apartments available to book within walking distance of the conference centre.

Things to do in Harrogate and the surrounding area
Harrogate is a picturesque spa town at the heart of Yorkshire and the home for the Royal Horticultural Society North Yorkshire Gardens for gardening enthusiasts. The Yorkshire dales, a national designated area of outstanding beauty, is within easy reach for those who’d like to explore the outdoors. Harrogate is the hometown for a famous tearoom if you’d like to indulge yourself with a treat or two. As well as local attractions, Harrogate is easily accessible to other Northern cities. The beautiful city of York is around three-quarters of an hour away by train or car.  Leeds, the foodie capital of the North, is also within easy reach and is celebrating its year of culture.

Getting to Harrogate
By rail
Harrogate is linked to all major UK cities including six daily direct LNER services between London KX and Harrogate Station (2 hours 46 minute).
 
Harrogate Convention Centre is just a seven minute walk (or short taxi ride) from Harrogate train station. Taxi services are available across the road opposite the main doors of the station.

By Air
At 12 miles (20 minutes) the closest airport to Harrogate Convention Centre is Leeds Bradford Airport (LBA). There are regular flights from locations across the UK and many connections worldwide, including Paris (1 hour 30 minutes), Amsterdam (1 hour 10 minutes), Dublin (1 hour).
 
To get from LBA to Harrogate, take the Airport Direct 747 bus which runs hourly and will drop you off at Harrogate’s main bus station, from there it’s a five minute walk to the Convention Centre.
 
Alternatively a taxi will take about 20 minutes and around £25.
 
If you are travelling from a destination without direct flights to LBA, consider a connection from Schiphol, Amsterdam.

From the South
21 minutes from the A1. Take the M1 and A1(M) before leaving at Junction 45 (Wetherby) then take the A661 to Harrogate. Alternatively continue on the A1(M) to Junction 47 (Knaresborough) then follow signs to Harrogate.
 
From the North
24 minutes from the A1.Take the A1(M) and exit at Junction 47 (Knaresborough) then follow signs to Harrogate.
