The organisers of this year’s RSS International Conference have announced that Peter Mueller will give the Methods & Theory keynote talk in Belfast this September.
Peter is a professor in the Department of Statistics and Data Science and Department of Mathematics at the University of Texas in Austin. He is a fellow of the American Statistical Association, Institute of Mathematical Statistics and the International Society for Bayesian Analysis.
His research interests include extensive work in nonparametric Bayesian methods for biomedical research problems, posterior simulation techniques, non-parametric Bayesian inference including random partition models and nonparametric regression, as well as extensive publications over the last 15 years on adaptive Bayesian data analysis.
Further keynote speakers will be announced over the coming weeks.
