2022 Annual General Meeting Sheffield Local Group

The Sheffield Local Group of the Royal Statistical Society (RSS) is looking for new members to serve on its committee.

As a committee member, you will get to contribute new ideas for local activities and help plan and deliver a programme of events. You will be joining an engaged and enthusiastic group from a range of professions and sectors.
 
We aim to organise three to four events a year to actively engage the local statistical community and those with an interest in statistics, data science or their applications. Our next event will be our AGM and seminar by Dr Andrew Garrett the 2023 RSS president on “The cross-over of statistical thinking and practices: A pandemic catalyst”. This will be held at 4:30pm on Thu 24th Nov at Chapter House, Sheffield Cathedral, Church St, Sheffield City Centre, Sheffield S1 1HA followed by a buffet and wine reception from 5:30pm. If you are interested in attending, please join our mailing list.
