RSS calls for session proposals for 2024 Conference

The RSS has issued a call for proposals for sessions and workshops to take place during its 2024 International Conference, to be held in Brighton from 2-5 September 2024.

The RSS Conference is the UK’s annual showcase for statistics and data science, bringing together over 600 participants from around 30 countries to share knowledge and learn about the latest developments in the field. The programme aims to cover the full range of sectors working with statistics and data science, including academia, business, industry, government and public sector.

Invited topic sessions and workshop proposals are developed by an individual, group of individuals or an organisation with a panel of speakers who they invite to speak on a related topic. The topic can be any subject related to statistics, data science and the use of data, and should ideally fit within one of the topic streams for the conference.

The RSS conference board are keen to receive proposals for sessions which cover new research and results, collaborations between different sectors, areas of controversy/debate, novel applications, topical discussion and informative and innovative case studies.

For full details about making a submission, including the proposal form, please visit the conference website.
The deadline for submissions is Monday 20 November.
